What's Next!

Love your library during February! We will have a $2 Jeans Day on Valentine's Day for students and faculty. Show your support of the library program and wear your jeans!

Lunch in the Library will be Friday, the 17th where we will make origami heart bookmarks. Come show your love for all things Library related!

Also keep in mind, The Hunger Games movie release party coming Wednesday, March 21st. It's gonna be GREAT!

Cool Story Leads Lesson

Ms. Breedlove and Ms. Wilcox both brought down their English classes to search for good story leads.

Each student was given a bookcase to browse for their leads. The students were required to find examples of four different types of leads (description, setting, dialogue, and action) and then choose their favorite ones.

If the student thought they might like to read the book, they could check it out! It was a great learning experience for the kids and for Ms. Cushing! :) Wish I had thought about it when I was teaching English!

Ms. Reed's AP Biology class created stop-action animation videos of Mitosis for a project at the end of the first semester.

Welcome Back to the 2nd Semester!

Take some time to look for a new book in the New Year!

We are so happy to have everyone back for another semester! Here are a few things to look/plan for in the New Year:

• Check out a book from the Digital Library
• Return those overdue books and check out more!
• Book Club is the 2nd Tuesday of each month
• The Hunger Games Party will be March 21st! Save the Date!
• Hot Chocolate will continue to be on sale through March!
